We opened Shine of Franklin in 2019 after seeing the economy and housing housing boom in the greater nashville area and the need for professional home services in the area. We fell in love with Tennessee in 2016 after we toured the state on vacation. Within our first year of opening we have served nearly 400 customers in the Franklin area, and have added a second crew in the field as we continue to grow.
I have always had a knack for being a DIY kind of guy, with tons of experience in home remodeling and other projects. For ten years prior to opening Shine of Franklin, I worked in the corporate manufacturing world in the automotive industry, specifically the rearview mirror assembly. Many of the lessons learned in a variety of roles during that time have translated to our current life of business ownership and providing quality, reliable service to people in our community. My wife Mindi has extensive experience in the public school system, various customer service based roles, and most recently in the orthodontic industry as a treatment coordinator. Mindi is also our business networking representative and development leader for Shine.
In our business, our customers are our highest priority. We understand that if our customers aren't absolutely thrilled by the time our crews leave their home, we haven't done a good job. Without satisfied customers, no business can survive for very long, let alone build a healthy reputation in their community. A huge part of making sure our customers are happy are our employees. We are extremely selective when we bring a new team member on board, because they are the ones delivering the quality service and "Shine experience" in your home.
Nashville is such a great area in the aspect of its diversity. We've met so many people from all walks of life and backgrounds, and plenty of fellow business owners to coach us along the way. There is definitely a sense of "southern hospitality" that is felt, and we are proud to call Nashville our home!
